THE LOST & FOUND BRISTOL
I have been to The Lost & Found for a couple of occasions, 1st I was accompanying my dear friend influencer #dinewithmalachi, 2nd time been with my friends celebrated my leaving do. At both times my experience here has been wonderful therefore I want to share this for you.
Their idea of driving the boundaries of discovery to lose yourself in a whimsical world of molecular mixology and seasonal cuisine, simply meet to their words. You'll find a collection of avant-garde cocktail bars and hidden restaurants.
What you will also find is, discover and understand the depth of each of their professors' Victorian hideaways and recalling the glamour of bygone eras.
Here are some of Food & Beverage I have tried:
Starters
Pan-Fried Scallops served on saffron risotto with a parsley & lemon gremolata
For those you are pescatarian or simply want to eat clean, this is highly recommended! The portion is great, lean toward the heavy side. If you are not hungry might consider having this as your main.
Crispy Duck Salad with a shredded vegetable salad & hoising dressing. This is literally a mouth watery, fresh and flavourful dish! My favourite. You will have to try to understand! The portion is great, you can request to have as a main too.
Main
Glazed Duck Breast, it is a stir-fried pack Choi, spring onions, red pepper, sesame seeds, and pineapple ketchup.
Fresh, flavourful and no carbs! Love this, if you might think this is not enough, you can order chunky chips to dip on the pineapple ketchup.
As I am a steak lover, I had to try their Sirloin. I like mine medium- rare with peppercorn sauce accompanied with triple cook chips.
The meat is not tough and delicious cook to perfection. The sauce is great and chips served hot and crispy outside and soft inside. Absolutely delicious!
Dessert
Warm Chocolate Cake with orange Chantilly cream and chocolate shards.
Right, we now talk of my language! I have a sweet tooth, especially for chocolate. This is divine if you like fondant this is your plate. The chocolate leans towards to dark side, which I always feel is the best in a dessert. Sweet enough but balanced. But what would satisfy me the most is instead of cream, served with classic vanilla ice cream. The combination of warm and cold in a dessert always excites me!
White Chocolate & Winter Berry Eton Mess, with vanilla cream, fresh blackberries, cherry meringue, winterberry coulis, and raspberry sorbet. Simply beautiful presentation and fireworks in my mouth!!!
MY FAVOURITE. This is a combination of fresh, light, cold, crispy and creamy. I have returned back because of this dessert, that's how much I love it :D
Drinks
Here are some drinks that I had tried, from alcoholic to none alcoholic (for those who may have to drive or simply don't consume alcohol, here you can find your drinks too). Presentation and taste my goodness hit the right spot.
